Candlestar offers Art Advisory Services for all aspects of the art market. Our team, led by Fariba Farshad, provides expert services for private clients, galleries, institutions and corporations. Whether you are looking to start a collection or source a particular artist’s work, we can help. We work with many leading contemporary artists and have access to high quality works from private collections.
We work with an extremely diverse portfolio of artists from Europe, USA and Iran including established artists such as Patrick Hughes, Parviz Tanavoli, Lucy and Jorge Orta and Abbas Kiarostami, as well as emerging talents such as Samira Alikhanzadeh, whose work now features in many collections, and Tahereh Samadi Tari, whose paintings we exhibited at the Volta Art Fair in New York in 2009.
We have also developed an exhibition series designed to both introduce new talents and showcase established artists. We have recently developed a partnership with the Hyatt Recgency – The Churchill hotel (the official hotel partner of the Frieze Art Fair) to run a series of exhibitions. The Hyatt series began with Iran Unbowed, an exhibition of Iranian painting and sculpture in the autumn of 2009 and continues with Perspectives, which will run until July 2010, featuring the work of Emily Allchurch, Yassi Golshani, Patrick Hughes, Gerry Judah, and David Maisel.
