Anahita Ghasemkhani
Born in Iran in 1980 Anahita Ghasemkhani received a BA and a MA in Fine Art from Tehran University. She is a member of the Sculptor's Society in Iran and has participated in many group exhibitions inside and outside of Iran.
For Anahita, cities including the people and houses that fill them up have a special charm and attractiveness. Although people are absent from some rooms, their past and future presence is amplified. Life and thoughts of some of these are exposed by being painted on them. Anahita allows her sculptures to grow from diffenet materials and as such does not confine herself to any particular material.
