Angel Orensanz
Angel Orensanz creates interactive sculptural installations that enhance public spaces. He has shown work at major sites across the world including: Budapest, Akita, Central Park NYC, Brussels, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Lisbon. Following a retrospective at the Water Museum Lisbon in 2006, Orensanz continues to exhibit globally and is represented in major collections. For the 52nd Venice Biennale he showed a body of work, which then toured to the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York. The Foundation, which Orensanz founded, has supported numerous independent artists as well as organisations including PS1, The Goethe Institute, the Italian Cultural Institute and a variety of educational institutions to develop educational and artistic projects.
