Candlestar is proud to announce a strategic alliance with PINTA – The Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show in London. PINTA showcases the best of modern and contemporary Latin American Art. After four successful editions in New York City, PINTA had an extremely well received inaugural show in London 2010. This year, over fifty art galleries from the Americas and Europe will bring to London an important and varied collection of works by both established and emerging Latin American artists.

One of the highlights of PINTA London is the Solo Projects section, curated by Pablo León de la Barra. The section presents 12 of the most interesting proposals from contemporary Latin American artists today. This is a brilliant opportunity to experience the most distinguished visual art from Latin America. In addition, PINTA will be incorporating an interesting and engaging diary of lectures and debates organised by the University of Essex, Latin American Art Collection and TrAIN, University of the Arts Research Centre for Transnational Art, Identity and Nation, which will include curators, artists, dealers and collectors.

This year, PINTA will allow visitors, galleries, artists, collectors, curators and European and American institutions to strengthen their existing knowledge and develop new connections with the Latin American art world.
