Candlestar 's New Media division is led by Fariba Farshad, former Head of the IT Research and Development Unit at the University of Arts, London. Fariba recently delivered a Keynote address on the development of the blended learning environments to a conference on learning and teaching organised by the University College for the Creative Arts (UCCA). Click here to view the presentation, The Art of Blending. She is currently spearheading the integration of technology into the University's curriculum.

Her distinguished career covers a wide range of new media productions including the ground breaking Ntouch (the first fashion magazine on the Web); the first online degree course in art and design; and the BAFTA nominated Seeing Drawing. Our New Media work spans everything from client promotion to advising a wide range of institutions on the development of strategies for electronic learning and training. We develop e-strategies for learning and communications in arts, education and business. We are also engineering innovative research collaborations which reach well beyond national boundaries and provide digital support to a wide range of partners and clients.
