Finalists' Exhibition

The Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize Finalists’ Exhibition, designed and produced by Candlestar, will be at the Royal College of Art, 15 - 17 October 2009.  The six emerging Iranian artists who were selected for the prize are preparing for the exhibition of their works, which will culminate in the announcement of the first winner.

The artists are:

Farhad Ahrarnia
Mahmoud Bakhshi Moakhar
Vahid Chamani
Sahand Hesamiyan
Abbas Kowsari
Newsha Tavakolian

The exhibition will be launched with a champagne breakfast, as part of the Frieze VIP programme, at the Royal College of Art, Thursday 15 October, 10am - 12 pm.  The Winner will be announced at a cocktail reception and auction at the Royal College of Art, Saturday 17 October, 6-9 pm.

Candlestar produced and designed the Finalists' Exhibition.
