The twin strands of Candlestar were brought together at the European Art Prize exhibition through the development of a series of short education sessions. Led by local sculptor Amanda Benson the education programme was an opportunity for young people from local schools and colleges to come to the gallery and discover more about some of Europe 's best contemporary painting.
