The opening of the exhibition of paintings shortlisted for the 2nd annual Sovereign European Art Prize, at the A Foundation's Rochelle School in Club Row, attracted over 300 people and they were joined by fourteen of the thirty four shortlisted artists together with painters Patrick Hughes and Sir Peter Blake who chairs the Prize jury. Since the opening there has been a steady flow of people coming to the gallery keen to see the show and to cast their vote for their favourite painting. The winners of the overall and public prizes were announced on 14 March 2007.
