Condé Nast College launches
Nearly two years after the thought was born, the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design became a reality. The Candlestar team, led by Director Fariba Farshad, have played a pivotal role in bringing this idea to life from sourcing the architects to course design, learning environment and branding and marketing.
The new College formally opened with a glittering reception at the College’s beautiful new home in London’s Greek Street on 30 April. The state of the art building, designed by award-winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, is now home to the first cohort of students. They will take the ten-week Vogue Certificate in Fashion and Design. Later in the year the College admitted the first students to its year-long Vogue Diploma in Fashion and Design. An MA is also planned.
‘It is really wonderful to see so many of the ideas that we discussed at the outset coming to fruition in such a spectacular way’ said Fariba Farshad.
